Fin Pattern & Design
Coils are used in many diverse applications, each having their own unique challenges.
Coils are manufactured with copper tubes or aluminium tubes (5 mm only in copper tubes) in following outer diameters:
5 mm | 7 mm | 7.94 mm (5/16") | 9.52 mm (3/8")
The available geometries (tube spacing) x (row spacing) are:
1” X 0.866” (25.4 X 22.0 mm) | 1” X 0.75” (25.4 x 19.05 mm) |
1” X 0.625” (25.4 x 15.875 mm) | 1” X 1” (25.0 x 25.0 mm) |
1” X 0.866”(metric: 25.0 x 21.65 mm) | 0.75” X 0.65” (19.05 x 16.5 mm) |
The fins are made of aluminium or copper, with special surface finishing such as :
Flat | Corrugated | louvered | Sine wave| QUANTAM ™
The side, top and bottom plates or end plates can be made of :
Galvanized steel | Aluminium | Aluminium alloys
